high school life

As I enter my secondary four years ago in my alma mater, Mary the Queen School Of Malolos, I was a bit afraid.  I don't know how to mingle with my new classmates. Will they like me? Or not?But that scared  was carried away when knew them better. Days passes, and I always think  if I could make the days past faster. When we got in second year, I am glad just for the reason that we're not the youngest anymore. With different set of classmates, It's never a hindrance to enjoy highschool life.

That was the time  met my real friends, they were some what mature. When the third year of my life came, with a bigger set of classmates, it was awesome to take this journey with many. Then, here the fourth year came, It was not a little pressure at first but then when we're going so long, I just realized that  must pursue my studies to graduate with flying colors and to make my parents proud.
These phase of my life taught me everything that I can learn.Maybe,  was socially healthy because of them. Because they taught me on how to associate with others so well. They taught me the importance of friendship. On how they can affect your life. When I think back of all those times, I'm sad and hopes that If Highschool can be forever. But it's never the end, maybe we'll separate our ways but never the things we've shared and what they mean to me.

Graduation day ! yey

Graduation day is the most important day for all the graduating student. We know that it would be the end of our high school life, We're all done wth the struggles that this phase of our life brought. It's also the time that we're going to say farewell to our dear classmates, friends, teacher and everyone whom we'd shared and had encountered within the past four years. All the graduating students is preparing for that day because they will receive the best price that they can give to their parents and that is their diplomas. diploma is a certificate or deed issued by an educational institution, such as a university, that testifies that the recipient has successfully completed a particular course of study, or confers an academic degree which makes our parents be more proud of us because they know that it’s the only thing we can go to college and we can find a good life with it. Parents would be so glad to see that their sacrifices will be paid off, and they can see their children march on the stage to get their diplomas.

As a graduating students we are so glad that we can go on to the next page of our life as a college students, we know that it would be harder than being a high school student, more pressures to come but we know that it is part of our life to jump off to the next level to see and learn more from it. When graduation day come we are not called as a high school students anymore, we are now a college student who graduated from being a high school; we will be carrying a lot of pressures and temptations in college but we know that by Gods grace we can handle everything.we like to make our graduation day special. We practice everything to make our graduation day perfect for our family who will be coming to that important day of ours. We graduating students are so happy to reach this part in our lives and get the best gift to our parent who really worked hard for us.

reggae :)

Reggae music is musical genre which is a result of the evolution and development of several other musical genres and styles.

It is strongly influenced by Afro-Caribbean music and American R&B, reggae music primarily originated from the progressive developments of rocksteady and ska back in the 1960s in Jamaica.
Bob Marley, a popular reggae musician, said that the term reggae came from the Spanish term for “the king’s music”. Today, reggae music continues to be a significant influence on many other genres such as black music, soul music and chillout music.
The common themes of the song lyrics of reggae music are usually associated with various subjects including relationships, love, religion, peace, sexuality, injustice and poverty. There are also some reggae songs with lyrics that attempt to elevate the political awareness of the audience through criticizing materialism, or through informing listeners about controversial topics like Apartheid. Some common socio-political topics which are also used in reggae songs would be Black Nationalism, anti-colonialism, anti-racism and anti-capitalism. Most reggae lyrics also reflect the traditions and beliefs of Rastafarianism, which is a religion practiced by the most famous reggae musicians of the world.

Entrance Exams

Today, I took the College Entrance Exams at Bulacan State University (BSU).

It was quite an experience, like all the other entrance exams I took..

The exam started at around 8 in the morning and lasted 'til 10:30 a.m. The Mathematics portion was okay, but the Science part was something else. Biology really is not my thing.

As a Fourth Year student, I have to think not only of my subjects and extra curricular activities, but also College as well. At the start of this school year, my classmates and I already started to look for universities and colleges that are offering the courses we want to take after High School graduation. Then we had to get application forms from these schools, have them processed, then wait for the day of the exam.

First of, the University if the Philippines.  I know it's a long shot and that it's hard to get in, but I tried anyway. The Entrance Exam was HARD. That's all I can say.  YEAH :)

Then, the University of Santo Tomas.

After that, I took another exam at Far Eastern University.

 And today, at BSU.

I don't know which university I'll apply for next. I don't know which university I'll get into. But I do know that I am excited to start another chapter of  my life. College, here I come!
